Tide Clocks were one of the vital first products Georgetown Pottery made some 40 years ago. Jeff Peters, the owner, is an avid fisherman and wanted to grasp when the tide would be right for a lunch break fishing go back and forth. The patented off center circle design represents the height and direction of the tide. Hand up is high tide and hand down is low. The Tide Clocks run on lunar time, 24 hours and 50 minutes. Even as they were first of all created for fishing, they make a gorgeous gift for any boater, sailor, beach goer or lover of the ocean. To make use of, simply set to the local harbor, beach, or body of water of your choice. They use 1 AA battery and are 7.5 inches in diameter.
